i just read in the news today that the school of humanities and social science is getting a 3 million dollar professorship thingy (i dunno how it works lar, but got money means good thing rite??) then our dear president su went to say something bout the school being the “the soul of the university, from which flows language, literature, culture, the arts and an appreciation of the highest qualities in life,” (i quote properly ok, dun later ppl sue me..) i mean its a new school, how can it be the soul of the uni?? its as if suddenly overnite all the engineers kanna pang seh, the one discipline that the uni was specilised in kanna a slap in the face. don’t get me wrong lar, i mean im all for making the uni a comprehensive one and giving those ppl at nus a run for their money, but a statement like that juz makes me feel abit arghhh, like in war ur oc sends you to the objective with the most number of enemies to reccee on becoz the other team got one white horse kia, so cannot send them to danger…

then i just checked my ntu email account.. got some email bout our students being in star awards (joanne peh) and what star idol thingy.. then oso become radio dj and dunno what superhost.. i mean seriously?? lim pei is superhero u don’t annouce… bahhh!! as our fave rockson would say… KNNBCCB understand?!!

on a side note.. i juz realised that the sea games is on.. wahh lau, really not in tune with the other side of the world sia..

its been really depressing over here in tron-noe partly becos exams are near.. but more so becos winter’s here!! i really only see the sun for 3 to 4 hrs a day (yes yes yes i know ppl back home are sweating like crazy while reading this.. muahaha) i guess im also to blame.. for you see, i don’t wake up nowadays till 12pm.. and the sun starts to set at 4.. grrr i think i better start waking up earlier to soak in more sunlight … else i’ll be a depressed bitch man… i really hope i dun end up sleeping at 5 in the mornings and waking up at 5 in the evenings… that’ll totally suck.. means i’ll be covered in total darkness!!

mmm i realised my previous post has upset a couple of ppl (well its juz rach and max but..) so im gonna try it again kz?? 29 more days after and i’ll be back!!! meanwhile i miss ya guys!!(and girl)

so i went clubbing last night… for the 2nd time. yeah don’t ask me why i haven’t been partying, i think its becos the good club (guvernment) is at the waterfront (which is damn far) and i got no khaki to club with. sooo last night i went to this place called afterlife cos i got an email from the canadian asian student’s society bout some ’schoolgirl’ party going on lar.. hehe being the tiko pek that i am, of cos i muz go down rite?? well i muz say the feel of it is super chinablack lar… and the shots were 3 bucks (ring ring, chinablack price..) yeah the place was super packed with despo guys (yes yes i belong to that grp don’t i??) trying to get lucky.. and hot and drunk chinese/korean/jap girls ..

yeah i din really like to be caught in the mosh mosh of it all so i pretty much hung out at the bar (hey 3 bucks a shot!). kz i admit, another reason why i was at the bar was cos the waitress was damn hot lar!! she was wearing those britney spears school outfit, then fwah… i shud haf taken a pic lar.. she is really damn hot… but oh well.. err ok i shall stop talking bout the hot waitress to protect my reputation (or what’s left of it..)

so while chilling at the bar, i talked to a couple of guys (ok im not gay, its juz they were trying to be frenly, or i think they were trying to pick up my 2 gal frens lar.. ) yeah i knew they were pretty much drunk lar, talking thrash with me.. and i basically instigated this guy to buy the waitress a flower.. haha it cost him 6 bucks.. i think he muz be cursing me this morning.. muahahah.. aniwei that’s all for my uneventful clubbing night.. had a nice long sleep though.. woke up at 2 and went for lunch at 4… oh and caught fireworks at the city hall area.. nice

hmmm i haven’t been brutally honest with folks back home.. i’ve actually met 2 lovely gals here in toronto, and im 2 timing them.. well they’re names are buckie and hoppie … the reason why i confessed is cos they found out that i was 2 timing em.. so yeah game’s pretty much over.

i really liked them alot though, such a pity .. guys i guess its wrong to cheat.. really… lets see.. i thought i could prevent them knowing each other existed because i usually spend my days with buckie and i spend my nights with hoppie. yeah hoppie isn’t really a day person.. buckie and i will always chill out at the cafe in school, or she’ll keep me company in the long and lonely cold walk back to my apartment. she’s absoulutely fantastic lar, always able to keep me awake.. hoppie on the other hand likes to chill with me at nite over at our apartment.. i muz say im always very high around her..

it was an awesome weekend..okay that’s all. nah, there’s more!! hmm lets see, where do i start?? kz, anyway alex dragged me out to niagara falls to meet up with spenz and some of his frens from uni of waterloo. well i din really wanna go cos i was abit lazy, but then again i really wanted to see the falls at nite and also to go and see more wineries.. and of cos i din wanna be stuck at home doing assignments, so i figured what the hell, just go bahh.. and i think that was a wise choice, since i really enjoyed the road trip.. we din really see the falls this time, just walked around the touristy area for awhile .. i din know they had this uber huge hershey’s store there too (its bigger than the one in nyc!!) alrites, i’ll let the photos do the the talking:

anyway, so we drove back after seeing the falls at night… n it appeared to be a normal night, with szu han coming over with his ps2 to chill.. apparently normal.. so i was on the computer trying to find victims to talk to… then they switched off the lights and started singing happy birthday (to me of cos!!). yeah so with my back facing them i figured its only like the usual ppl in the house.. to my surprise there were more!! they were hiding in every corner of the house when i came back.. so sneaky.. anyway what was more surprising was the appearance of 2 clowns.. eve and ian!! i was totally shocked lar .. cos they had to travel outta bout 1 hr (for ian) and 3 hrs drive for eve.. soo touched.. keke.. so thanx guys for coming down! and thank alex (for coordinating the surprise and dragging me to niagara as a mini decoy), dan, chewy,jj,szu han, yue fei, yuan dong, eve and ian for making my birthday not a cold, boring and lonely one..

yeah, so after that i caught like 4 hrs of sleep before waking up to go to church.. hmmm the weather was super nice.. it was sunny, and just a perfect sunday afternoon… dragged eve along with me to church whereas the lazy ass horsey continued to concuss… after svc we caught the santa claus parade:
